Nusa Genmaicha
Origin
Nusa Genmaicha begins with Yabukita tea cultivar, one of Japan’s most widely recognised tea cultivars, known for its balanced flavour, fresh aroma, and gentle umami. Grown in the highlands of West Java, the green tea is blended with carefully roasted rice to create a warm and comforting Japanese-style tea.
The roasted rice adds depth and a subtle nutty sweetness while softening the sharper edges of green tea. Together, the Yabukita tea and toasted rice create a harmonious balance between freshness, savoury character, and warmth.
